This contract is an agreement between Spouses Cleaning Houses(SCH), and ____________________________________________This
contract states that you are hiring SCH to clean the interior of your home for your final out and have agreed to pay SCH in
the amount of $_____________ for those services. A member of SCH agrees to be present on the date of your final inspection
on ______________________ @ ____________. Initial day of cleaning____________
Prerequisites
Before SCH will clean your home, it must be completely empty when we arrive. We are not responsible for anything
that is left in the unit and will not begin cleaning until the unit is completely empty. Please remove all tacks, nails, and
screws from the walls and make repairs if necessary. If you need to paint, have it completed prior to SCH arriving to clean.
Once cleaning has begun, we will not repeat cleaning due to repeated traffic by house residents, this will also void our guarantee.
If we arrive and feel that the house requires ‘‘beyond normal cleaning’’, we will inform you
of extra charges BEFORE cleaning the unit. There will be no surprise charges. ____
Not Responsible
SCH is NOT responsible for items that need to be replaced upon move out. These items include, but are
not limited to, light bulbs, toilet seats, drip pans, and filters. These items are a one for one exchange at the UFIX IT store and are your responsibility to acquire and replace. SCH
is not responsible for damage or neglect of the house by home residents. Some marks or scuffs cannot be removed from the
wall; therefore, it will be your responsibility to get touch up paint from UFIX IT
to cover those marks. You may incur a charge at your final inspection for these damages which SCH is not responsible for.
Some, but not all, damages not covered are chewed/broken blinds, modifications (i.e., painting, extra carpeting, hardware),
staining (on appliances, flooring, or surfaces), and any damage from a pet. _____
Services Provided
The services that SCH provides for interior cleaning is vacuuming, scrubbing the walls, cleaning the appliances,
mopping, and all other items provided to you on your final checklist. We will vacuum your carpet with a household vacuum cleaner
to make sure that things are off the floor. We do NOT guarantee carpets.
We can shampoo your carpets for you for an additional fee, but this is not a professional cleaning. We can offer names of
companies that can help you with this._____
Even though we have been hired to do your final out cleaning, very important information is covered at your
pre-inspection briefing. Please attend this meeting to see what needs to be done outside of cleaning your home. They go over
not only interior cleaning needs, but also exterior. We have been hired to clean the inside of your home only, unless requested
to clean the exterior as well. A separate price will be assessed for exterior cleaning. Please ask us what we cover as our
exterior services if this is something you are interested in.
Please make us aware of any damages/repairs covered during your pre-final inspection.
Guarantee
Spouses Cleaning Houses guarantees our work and a member will be present upon your final out. We will not leave
your unit until you have passed the cleaning portion of your final out. If something is not clean to Aurora Military Housing’s(AMH)
satisfaction, we will clean it on the spot. If you are charged for ANY cleaning that should have been completed by our team,
we will cover that charge for you as our guarantee._____
Payment
No credit cards or out of state checks shall be used for payment. Only Alaska checks or exact cash will be used
as means of payment._____
Times
We require, at a MINIMUM, 2 CALENDAR days prior to the day you need our cleaning to be complete to perform our
cleaning. Meaning if you have painters coming or your final out is on Thursday we require that we have the opportunity to
clean your house beginning on Tuesday by 0730. Cancelations should be made prior to 3 BUSINESS days._____
Voiding our guarantee
If the house is found to be occupied (having ANY items left in the house) on the first day of cleaning, all
fees will still be paid to SCH. The SCH team will do their best to get the house clean as to pass AMH’s final out inspection,
but additional charges for cleaning will no longer be covered by SCH. As stated earlier, if repeated traffic by home owners
occurs after cleaning has begun, meaning that SCH staff will have to repeat cleaning such as toilets and sinks, the guarantee
is void. Not meeting the minimum time required as stated above will also void our guarantee. Failure to give 3 business days
prior to the initial day of cleaning notice of cancelation will result in all fees still being required to be paid to SCH
no later than the time of final out inspection by AMH._____
